Ingredients
ginger | 100 grs |
green chillies | 100grs |
tamarind | 50 grs |
salt | to taste |
garlic cloves | 10 |
cumin seeds | 1 spoon |
sugar | 50 grs |
oil | 3 spoons |
mustard seeds | 1/4 spoon |
urad dal | 1/4 spoon |
curry leaves | some |
Method
add tamarind flakes in 1 cup water in a vessel and boil for 5 minutes.
wash ginger and green chillies.
peel ginger and cut into small pieces(not very small).
cut green chillies into 2 pieces.
1.add 2 spoons of oil in a pan.
2.after heating the oil add green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
3.keep them aside.
4.add ginger pieces and fry for 5 to 10 minutes.put off the flame.
5.add fried ginger pieces,green chillies,salt,garlic cloves,soaked tamarind,cumin seeds and sugar in a mixie jar and make a paste with adding tamarind soaked water.
6.taste the chutney if salt is enough or not.
7.add 1 spoon of oil in a pan.
8.after heating the oil add mustard seeds .when they started to crackled add urad dal and fry for 1minute.
9.when dal become to light golden colour add curry leaves.
10.add this chutney and mix all very well.
