Halwa puri

halwa puri sweet

Ingredients

maida 1/4 kg(1 cup)
suji 1/4 kg(1 cup)
sugar 1/2 kg(2 cups)
water 700 ml(3 cups)
ghee 1/2 kg(2 cups)
elachi 5
cashew nuts 10


Method

1.add 3 spoons of ghee in a pan .
2.after melting the ghee add cashew nuts and fry until they turn  into light golden colour .keep them aside.





3.add suji and  fry for 5 minutes in low flame.
4.add sugar and water in a vessel and boil until sugar is dissolved.
4.when sugar is totally dissolved in  the water then add suji and mix very well.add elachi powder also.
5.add 3 spoons of ghee.
6.make suji halwa.finally add fried cashew nuts and mix all very well.put off the flame.keep to cool .after that make halwa in small ball size shapes(laddo ).
7.add maida and pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.add 1 spoon of ghee and mix well.then add some water make chapati dough.add 2 to 3 spoon of oil on dough. keep lid and kept aside for 1 hour.
8.put  a pan in stove.add 1/2 spoon of ghee.heat it.
9.take dough in small ball size .and put in the palm and make small  flat shape put halwa ball in it and close the ball with dough .make round shape.
10.then put that ball shape on polythin paper. add one apply 1 single drop of ghee over it.
11.pat that ball with finger tips and make chapati shape.donot use chapati roller pin.
12.put this chapati on pan.adding ghee on sides roast like chapati.
13.you can fry this chapati in oil also(like puri).
