Palak fry

palak fry
Ingredients


palak leaves 1 cup
onion 1
green chilies 2
oil 1 spoon
mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
cumin seeds 1/4 spoon
dry chilli 1
urad dal 1/4 spoon
curry leaves some
garlic cloves 10
turmeric pinch
salt to taste 


Method

cleaning leafy vegetable is very important .soak in salt water atleast 20 minutes to remove pesticides and bacterias.
cut palak into pieces.
cut onion and green chillies into small pieces.
peel upper layer of garlic cloves.
1.add oil in a pan.
2.after heating the oil add mustard seeds.
3.when mustard seeds crackled add cumin seeds and dry chillies.
4.add garlic cloves.
5.if garlic cloves fried add urad dal.
6.when dal changes its colour add curry leaves.
7.add chopped onions and green chillies.fry them
8.when onions become golden colour add palak pieces.
9.add turmeric and salt.cook for some time.
10.in palak curry small amount of salt is enough. palak leaves  have salts naturally.
11.here iam not adding red chillie powder because green chllies and dry chilli is enough to give spicyness to the curry.
12.you can add red chillie powder if want more spicy.
13.fry palak till water in the curry evoparated.
14.put off the flame and serve hot.
