Dry Paneer Potato Kofta Recipe

dry paneer potato kofta recipe

This is one of the famous paneer recipes and  very tasty snack and easy to prepare ....But high calorie food .This type  of  food prefer to eat occasionally... We can make this kofta as shallow fry also.

Ingredients


paneer 250 grs
potatoes 3
salt to taste
black pepper powder 1/4 spoon
red chilli powder 1/2 spoon
corn flour 2 spoons
coriander  leaves few
garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
cashew nuts 10
badam 10
kismis 10
milk powder 1 spoon
oil for deep fry

Preparation


Grate the paneer
boil the potatoes and peel them and mash or grate them.
Make black papper powder.
Make garam masala powder.
Wash corinader leaves and choped finely.
Make the all dry fruits into small pieces.

Method


1.Take a big mixing bowl.
2.Add grated paneer,mashed potatoes,salt,red chilli powder,pepper powder,garam masala,milk powder,finely chopped coriander leaves and corn flour.
3.Mix all well and make a small balls and flatten them slightly.
4.place the dryfruits pieces in the center and cover the  dry fruits completely and make a ball.
5.Do all balls like this.
6.Take pan and put on the flame and add oil for deep fry.
7.When oil is heated add koftas and fry till become to golden brown colour.
8.Put them in paper napkin for absourb excess of oil...
9.Dry and tasty paneer potato recipe is ready to eat....Enjoy!

Keep in the mind


You can do shallow fry also.
Adding this kofta in tomato gravy and make kofta curry also.
Heating oil is very important.Oil should be in medium heat.Low heating of oil  koftas should absorb oil excessly and become greasy..
Too hot oil makes koftas become golden colour with out proper cooking in side of the koftas..
Add more  corn flour to the mixture if koftas break down while frying them

 Potato gets the  main place in indian meal plate.In south or north . ...with Rice or Roti ..it is suitable vegetable(recipe).Every one likes potato varieties as curry,kurma,mixed with other vegetables,masala curry and fries. Potatoes is a energy giving vegetable and also stimulate the brain function and increase the immune system .Do not feel afraid when you eating potatoes which is not only having carbohydrates also enriched with many nutrients values.Children love this crispy and spicy potato variety.This is good combination with Pappu charu(Sambar) or all mixed dal varities.

potato brinjal curry

Ingredients

brinjal 1/4 kg
potato 1/4 kg
onion 1
green chillies 4
mint leaves some
ginger garlic paste 1 spoon
turmeric pinch
salt to taste
red chilli powder 1 spoon
coriander leaves some
oil 2 spoons
milk creamy 1 cup


Method

wash vegetable with plenty of water 3 or 4 times or soak in salt water for 30 minutes.
cut onions and green  chillies into small pieces.
wash mint and coriander leaves and keep them aside separetly
cut potato into medium size pieces.if potatoes are small cut into 4 pieces,if big size potatoes cut into 6 to 8 pieces and put in salt water.
cut brinjal also medium  size pieces.put in salt water.
1.add oil in a pan.
2.after heating the oil add onion and green chilli pieces and fry for some time.
3.when onions turn into golden colour add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 minute.
4.add mint leaves and fry for 2 minutes.
5.then add potato pieces(strain from water), turmeric and salt.
6.cook for 5 minutes.
7.then add brinjal pieces and red chilli powder and cook for some time.
8.when water in the curry started slowly  to evoparating then add milk and cook till brinjal and potato pieces become tender.
9. when oil  in the curry is coming out then add coriander leaves and put off the flame.
10.we can prepare water with out adding milk.
this is traditional dish in andhra.

Potato fry (mudda kura)

Ingredients
potatoes 1/4 kg
onion 1 medium size
green chillies 3
oil 2 spoons
mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
cumin seeds 1/4 spoon
urad dal 1/4 spoon
chana dal 1/4 spoon
curry leaves some
ginger garlic paste 1/2 spoon
turmeric pinch
salt to taste
red chilli  powder 1 spoon
coriander leaves some


Method
 wash potatoes with plenty of water because potato is root vegetable so should wash  more  water than normal vegetable.
cut potatoes into 4 pieces.
cut onions  and red chillies  into small pieces.
1.add  water (1/2 cup) in potato pieces and put in a medium flame boil till potatoes became soft.
2.after pototoes cooked .strain from water and peel the upper layer of potato pieces.cut into small pieces or mash the pieces.
3.add oil in a pan.
4.after heating the oil add  mustard seeds.when mustard seeds crackle add cumin seeds,dry chillies.
5.after cumin seeds fried add urad dal  and chana dal.
6.after dals became light golden colour add curry leaves.
7.add onion and green chillie pieces and fry till onion pieces became golden colour.
8.then add boiled potato pieces or mash potatoes.
9.add turmeric ,salt and red chilli powder.
10.mix all very well. and fry for 10 to15 minutes.
11.finally add coriander leaves and put off the flame.
serve hot.
