Ingredients
pesara pappu 1cup
sugar 1 1/4cup
cashew nut some
water 1cup
ghee 1/4cup
oil for deep dry
Method
1.soak pesara pappu(moong dal) for one hour(6o minutes).
2.grind this with out adding water.
3.dont make very soft paste.some rough(బరకగా )paste is better.
4.add 1cup of water in a vessel.add sugar and stir well.cook until sugar is completly dissolved .
5.add moong dal paste and stir very well.
6.any sweet making sugar syrup is very important.if sugar syrup is not make correctly perfect shape of the sweet not form.
7.stir the mixture continuously adding ghee until moong dal,sugar mixture doesnot stick our hand if we tough with wet hands. this is the correct time to put off the flame.
8.make the shape of half moon (or your wishing shape ) with this mixture.
9.fry cashew nuts in ghee. put these fried cashew on chandrakanth shapes.if you like mix cashews in sweet mixture then make shapes.
10.pour oil (or ghee) in a pan.
11.after heating the oil add chandrakantalu(shapes) and fry until shapes get brown colour.
12.if you donot like deep fry ,you can do roast like kababs.
