puri curry

puri curry
Ingredients
potatoes 2
onion 2
green chillies 3
carrot 1
ginger small piece
oil 2 spoons
mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
chana dal 1/2 spoon
curry leaves some
besan 3 spoons



Method
clean onions ,green chillies,carrot and potatoes.
peel potatoes and cut into 4 pieces .
1.add potatoes and some water(1 cup)in a vessel and boil until potatoes become soft.boil in low flame .
when potatoes are cooked, strain from water.and cut into small pieces.
2.chopped onions,green chillies,ginger and carrot finely.
3.add oil in a pan.
after heating the oil add mustard seeds.
4.when mustard seeds started to crackling add chanadal .
5.when chana dal turn into light golden colour add ginger pieces.and fry for 1minute.
6.add curry leaves.
7.add onions and green chilie pieces.fry until onion pieces turn into golden colour.
8.add carrot pieces and boiled potato pieces.
9.add salt and turmeric.mix very well.
10.cook for 15minutes.
11.add besan in a bowl.add 1cup of water in that bowl and stir besan and water very well.
12.add this in curry and stir the curry immediately to avoid lumps.
13.cook until curry becoming to  thick.put off the flame
14.iam not adding red chillie powder in this curry.only add green chillies for spicy.you can add more green chillies for more spicy.
adding red chillie powder can chage the colour of the curry.the curry should be in light yellow or light cream colour(besan  colour)
